Lead Applications Programmer/Analyst

Mel grew up in Turkey, earned a BS degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked three years as Oracle ERP technical consultant for various companies and organizations in industries such as retail, telecommunication, transport, construction and military. He came to Michigan for graduate school and earned an MS. degree in Information Systems & Technology. He received an Honor Scholar award for his academic performance and thesis on utilizing cognitive architectures in engineering design. Following his graduation, he spent seven months in the General Clinical Research Center as a database analyst, and has been with MICHR since 2007. He enjoys utilizing IT for the well being of society.
