Elias Samuels

Program Director

Elias Samuels is the Program Director of Workforce Development & Evaluation at MICHR. In his role, Eli provides leadership to the institutes’ evaluation and workforce development initiatives. He has worked at MICHR since 2016 and previously directed institutional research offices within and outside of U-M. His interests focus on the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic research initiatives in higher education, with a particular focus on the development of the research workforce. He earned a BA in history from Reed College and his MA and PhD in higher education U-M.
