Workshop: Seeing Your Study Through Your Study Participant's Eyes

This 90-minute workshop uses interactive activities to give you tangible strategies for gaining insights into your study participants through human-centered design.

This workshop will enable you to:

  1. Define human-centered design and explain how it is relevant for health research studies

  2. Explain why it's important to get the perspective of your users

  3. Describe a few key strategies for learning the needs of your study participants

  4. Describe a few key tools for consolidating your learnings

  5. Create an action plan for how to apply these principles to your existing studies

  • Wednesday, April 22, 9–10:30 a.m.

  • Thursday, April 23, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
