Join Research Connections: A Staff Community of Practice

Research Connections: A Staff Community of Practice was developed to foster connections and share best practices through peer mentoring and discussion around a variety of professional development, research management, and leadership topics. We are currently recruiting new members to join our small group of founding members.

The primary audience for this opportunity is research staff in health or clinical-related translational research who are willing to actively listen, share, and follow the community guidelines. All staff are welcome to share their interest, but we are especially looking for those staff who do not already have strong connections to a network of other research staff. Staff in any department at U-M Ann Arbor, Michigan Medicine, UM-Flint, and UM-Dearborn are welcome.

If you are interested, please read the program overview and then fill out an interest form. If you’d like to join the community in May 2026, please fill out the interest form by May 8, 2026. We have a limited number of spaces at this time, but if we reach capacity, we will reach back out to those who express interest when more spaces open.
