Betsy Rolland, PhD MLIS MPH, serves as the Translational Science Strategist at the Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research (MICHR). In this role, Betsy works with MICHR leadership to set the strategic direction for investment in and facilitation of Translational Science. She is also the PI of a National Library of Medicine-funded R01 investigating the tools and strategies Clinical and Translational Research Teams use in seeking, using, creating, sharing, storing, and retrieving information. For more than 15 years, Betsy’s work has focused on coordination and collaboration in team-science projects, including how to design, build, and evaluate infrastructure to support complex, multi-investigator initiatives. She is also a certified professional coach who works with early-stage investigators in building sustainable team science research programs.
