Alexandra Harper

Dr. Alexandra Harper is an occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CHPQ) which inform her approach to clinical and health research. She completed her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh in 2022 and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan in 2024. Alex’s research focuses on leveraging implementation science and mixed methods to enhance the design and conduct of behavioral trials across the translational spectrum. Her goal with this cross-cutting, collaborative, and community-engaged work is to facilitate the consistent implementation of evidence-based practices, bridge the research-practice gap, and improve the quality of healthcare for all.
