Dr. Vicki L. Ellingrod serves as the Faculty Lead for MICHR education and mentoring (Workforce Development Module), the Co-Director of MICHR’s K12 program, and the Co-Director of MICHR’s predoctoral and postdoctoral T32 programs. In 2022, Dr. Ellingrod was appointed the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ellingrod is a researcher, scholar, educator, and administrator who has dedicated her career to mentoring the next generation of translational science leaders. She has undergone mentor training through the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) and is a certified facilitator for the training. She’s also a recipient of the MICHR Clinical Translational Science Mentor Award, a testament to the impact of her mentorship. Throughout her career, she’s mentored more than 40 individuals, ranging from undergraduates to junior faculty.
