Tips & Tricks to Maximize UMHealthResearch.org

The MICHR Participant Recruitment Program has developed UMHealthResearch.org, an engaged volunteer registry, offering University of Michigan research teams an online forum to post their research studies and gain access to + 47,000 potential research participants eager to help with research. During this workshop, you will learn how to gain access to these volunteers, best practices for writing your study posting & learn helpful tips to help maximize the tool's potential to aid in recruitment for your studies.

Have you thought about using UMHealthResearch.org to recruit for your study, but just haven't had the time to explore the tool and learn how to best use it for your study needs? There is no better time than the present to tune in and learn everything you need to know to begin taking advantage of this homegrown informatics tool that will give you immediate access to thousands of volunteers looking to help advance research at the University of Michigan. 

Important information about this seminar:

  • 1-1.5 hours to allow for exploring both the volunteer and study team sides of the application as well as allow time for Q & A.

  • The training will offer guidance on how to secure IRB approval to post on the site, best practices for writing study postings as well as a deep dive into the tool's functionality and how to best utilize it to maximize its potential.

This seminar will be offered online twice:

  • Tuesday, April 21, 9:30–11 a.m.

  • Wednesday, April 29, 1 –2:30 p.m.
