In light of the health risks associated with COVID-19, the Healthy Flint Research Coordinating Center (HFRCC) cancelled its second annual symposium planned for Friday, March 27, at the Flint Institute of Arts. In addition to postponing the symposium, leadership is hosting a weekly webinar series titled “Flint Community COVID-19” as a means of delivering up-to-date and credible information that pertains directly to the Flint community from local, regional, and state leaders/experts. Guest speakers have included U.S. Congressman Dan Kildee. More than 1,200 viewers have participated.

Register today for the eighth installment on Friday, May 15, from noon to 1 p.m., which will focus on testing and other important community resources. Upon registering, you will also have the opportunity to pre-register for upcoming installments in the series.
