What is this offering?
PCORnet® is an infrastructure funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI®) to unite high quality health data, patient partnerships, and research expertise and to improve the nation’s capacity to conduct patient-centered comparative effectiveness research (CER) and learn from the healthcare experiences of millions of patients. Each PCORnet partner institution participates in the PCORnet Common Data Model (CDM), which standardizes millions of data points into a unified format representing encounters with more than 30 million people across the U.S. each year. University of Michigan is part of the PaTH Patient Empowered Clinical Research Network/ partner hub of PCORnet.
Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research (MICHR), Network Based Research (NBR) program is the POC at U-M for PCORI PCORnet network-based studies. As the U-M home for PCORnet, we offer a variety of services to help researchers navigate The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute® (PCORI®), PCORnet® National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network.
