Learn How to Manage Your Research Award Successfully in an Interactive Game Style

About this event

Join MICHR for an interactive workshop going through real post-award life situations and trying to solve them together. While sharing tips and tricks on post-award handling techniques for research grants along the way. Learn how to adjust budget to match what you are awarded, what to look for when you reconcile monthly expenses, prepare financial reports, utilize Business Objects to answer your questions, how to meet cost sharing, and ways to be ready for a successful closeout.

This workshop is intended for junior investigators and post-award financial specialists who received or are managing one of MICHR's awards or new awards; but is open to all who are interested. A calendar invite will be sent to all confirmed registrants with the meeting information.

If you are unable to attend this workshop, please cancel your registration to release a seat for someone else who may be waiting to sign up. We will charge your department's shortcode a $50 for a no-show. External to U-M participant, you will be charged a $75 fee to attend.
