We are in a new era of research transparency which requires advance planning for data sharing.

In this virtual session, participants will learn how to put together National Institutes of Health (NIH) data management & sharing (DMS) Plans, how to harmonize informed consent language with DMS Plans, and, if needed, how to translate the NIH DMS Plan to a ClinicalTrials.gov Individual Participant Data Plan.

Primary audience: Faculty and senior study team members from the University of Michigan or affiliated organizations who are involved in NIH-funded research. Part 1 of the workshop covers NIH grants; Part 2 covers those who work with human participants/patients; and for those who choose to stay, Part 3 covers content specific to clinical trials.

Registration is required.
