We are in a new era of research transparency, which means our study documentation must be clearer than ever. A significant part of this transparency is ClinicalTrials.gov, which has evolved since its inception years ago and is changing the way we think about measuring and reporting data outcomes.

In this interactive, virtual session, participants will learn from regulatory specialists about how to meet requirements for ClinicalTrials.gov and ensure transparency in their research. Despite ClinicalTrials.gov becoming more common in clinical research, many researchers are unfamiliar with how to use the system. This workshop will provide crucial learning about how to use the ClinicalTrials.gov system and includes skill-building activities to practice what you learn. Even if you have assistance with your ClinicalTrials.gov registration, you will save time and energy from grant application through the registration process if you understand ClinicalTrials.gov terminology and expectations.

Primary audience: Faculty and senior study team members from the University of Michigan or affiliated organizations who are involved in designing and planning any Investigator-Initiated studies required to register in ClinicalTrials.gov. Anyone with a basic knowledge of clinical trials is welcome.

Due to confidentiality and U-M-specific policies and procedures, this training may only be attended by employees from U-M or affiliated health systems or people who are working on a clinical trial with a U-M principal investigator.

*If you are interested in the training and cannot attend the November 20 workshop, please sign up to be notified about future workshops at the registration link.

**We aim to provide an outstanding experience for all attendees. If you require reasonable accommodations to attend, please get in touch with the organizers two weeks prior to the event at [email protected].
