We are in a new era of research transparency which requires advance planning for data sharing.

In this virtual session, participants will learn from an expert on how to put together National Institutes of Health (NIH) data management & sharing (DMS) plans and, if needed, how to translate the NIH DMS plan to a ClinicalTrials.gov individual participant data sharing plan. In this workshop, we will discuss examples of how to write specific sections of the DMS plan. Participation is encouraged.

Primary audience: Faculty and senior study team members from the University of Michigan or affiliated organizations who are involved in NIH-funded research. Part 1 of the workshop covers NIH grants; Part 2, for those who choose to stay, covers bonus content specific to clinical trials.*

*Part 2 content is tailored from a previous MICHR workshop: IMPACT: Avoiding Pitfalls in ClinicalTrials.gov Registration.

**If you are interested in the training and cannot attend the November 12 workshop, please sign up to be notified about future workshops at the registration link.

***We aim to provide an outstanding experience for all attendees. If you require reasonable accommodations to attend, please get in touch with the organizers two weeks prior to the event at [email protected].
