Helen Baghdoyan

"One of my weaknesses as a graduate student has been speaking in front of large groups of people… Dr. Baghdoyan and I have sat down and discussed what changes I could make to become a better presenter, and she encourages me to present often in front of groups of people where she takes notes and gives me feedback each time, which in turn has improved my presentation skills immensely. The support and mentorship I’ve received from Dr. Baghdoyan has jump started my Ph.D. program, and with her help and encouragement I was able to write two abstracts in the first year working under her direction, which I will be able to present with confidence."
