What is this resource?
This job aide provides supplemental resources and tips for study team members responsible for the process of using electronic consent (eConsent) for clinical and translational research. It provides key messages and discusses issues involved with eConsent, with a particular focus on the issue of accessibility.
This resource is designed to supplement asynchronous training on eConsent and synchronous workshops on the basics of informed consent provided by the Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research. No prior research experience or technical background is necessary to use this resource, but further training on informed consent is recommended for all participants.
