What is this resource?

The Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research developed an innovative online course series to support grant writing efforts for trainees. The courses provide specific advice, instruction, and models for writing individual sections of an NIH Career Development Training (K) Award. This four course collection includes guidance for writing the Specific Aims, Candidate Background, Career Goals and Objectives, Career Development (Training) Plan, and Mentor Letter sections of a K grant proposal.

MICHR also offers an introductory three-part workshop series that will provide opportunity for participants to receive peer critique and feedback from established faculty on their career development award applications. See K Writing Workshop for more information.
